Software Group Tech Lead

As a Software Group Tech Lead at Papaya, you’ll be working with several development teams as their technical leader. You will be responsible for defining, maintaining and visualizing the design of the domain and the interaction between its components. You will guide, mentor and influence a group of engineers in building an optimized, scalable design, innovate and remove development related roadblocks.

What you’ll do:

• Take end to end ownership of cross organizational infra projects from requirements to production.
• Evaluate technologies, run proof of concepts and promote changes in the technological stack.
• Lead changes, guide and collaborate with all other development teams in R&D.
• Be an effective part in owning and supporting the team’s services in multiple production environments.
• Apply best practices for high quality design, code and tests.
• Mentor developers to help them grow and evolve their technical skills.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Proven experience working on SaaS applications and Microservices architecture.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in developing complex systems at large scale.
• Deep experience and knowledge in cloud architecture
• Passion for learning new technologies and applying them to make an impact.
• Can-do approach.
