We are looking for an experienced Vertica DBA to join our team.

• The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing Vertica databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and data integrity.

Job location – Herzliya, Israel/ Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade Vertica databases
• Monitor database performance and ensure system availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Optimize queries and manage data storage
• Implement backup and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with development and data team teams to support data-driven projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DBA (Vertica experience required)
• Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
• Experience with Linux environments
• Familiarity with ETL / ELT processes and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
