Position Overview
The Technical Service Engineer (TSE) is a key member of Atlantium’s global support team, responsible for delivering technical expertise, diagnostics, and system integration support for our HOD UV disinfection systems. This role bridges field support, engineering, and customer satisfaction, focusing on in-depth troubleshooting, system commissioning, and lifecycle support of complex electromechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide remote and onsite technical support for Atlantium HOD UV systems, addressing hardware, control, sensor, and communication-related issues.
• Guide system commissioning and configuration, including ballast modules, power supplies, control cards, and UV sensors.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis involving:
o UV lamp faults (medium-pressure, 1kW–12kW range)
o Ballasts, temperature sensors, and quartz components (tubes, sleeves, reflectors)
o Electrical harnesses, RS-485 Modbus communications, and control interfaces (Premium AiO / Standard B&W)
• Interface with customer SCADA and automation teams to support system integration, diagnostics, and protocol validation.
• Conduct training sessions for customers, partners, and internal service staff.
• Collaborate with R&D and product engineering to support new product introductions (NPI), and validate hardware or software updates.
• Assist in authoring or reviewing technical documentation, installation guides, service bulletins, and part specifications.
• Maintain accurate CRM-based service logs, reports, and knowledge base entries.
• Support spare parts identification, remote diagnostics, and service kit configuration
דרישות התפקיד
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical support, service engineering, or system integration role—preferably with industrial or water treatment systems.
• Experience with:
Medium-voltage power electronics (1kW to 12kW)
Control systems and industrial sensors (UV intensity, temperature)
Electrical wiring harnesses, cable routing, diagnostics
HMI/PLC systems and industrial protocols (RS-485, Modbus)
Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages (e.g., Spanish, German) are an advantage.
Willing to travel internationally up to 25%.
