We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee our Software Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing team, with a focus on manual and automated testing for Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, a passion for quality, and a proven track record in leading QA efforts for mobile platforms, particularly Android.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA testers in both manual and automated testing environments.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes using tools like Appium, Espresso, or Robotium.
Conduct hands-on manual testing to ensure the app's user interface and user experience meet design specifications.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in the QA process and advocate for best practices in testing methodologies.

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation and Manual software QA, with a significant portion focused on mobile applications, particularly on the Android platform.
Proven track record of leading QA teams and successfully driving the testing strategy for mobile applications.
Expertise in creating and executing test plans for mobile applications, including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in QA leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on mobile applications, specifically Android.
Proficiency with manual testing and automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, etc.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Full proficiency in English and an ability to work in a global work environment
