About the Team

We’re hiring a QA Architect to join Cyera’s QA organization and lead quality strategy within a dedicated development group.

In this role, you’ll represent QA leadership inside the development group and act as the key quality partner for engineering and product leadership. You’ll drive testing strategy, QA best practices, automation adoption, release readiness, and quality visibility across the group.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic quality ownership with active participation in feature testing, integration validation, and release activities.

What you’ll do

• Own and drive the quality strategy for a dedicated development group.
• Serve as the focal point for QA status, priorities, risks, blockers, and release readiness.
• Define and enforce QA best practices, testing standards, and quality processes.
• Lead testing activities, including planning, execution, regression, reporting, and release validation.
• Partner closely with executives, developers, product managers, DevOps, QA engineers, and QA leadership.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers.
• Review test plans, test cases, automation coverage, and testing strategies.
• Monitor quality KPIs, automation coverage, defect trends, and release confidence.
• Promote automation reliability and expanded automation coverage.
• Stay hands-on in testing, integration validation, and complex quality investigations.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of experience in QA, QA automation, test architecture, or similar roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including deep language understanding, clean code practices, and the ability to design maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Proven experience leading QA activities within a development group or product area.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test strategy, test design, defect lifecycle, and release processes.
• Experience with API testing, UI testing, integration testing, regression testing, and E2E validation.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, or similar tools.
• Experience in testing Kubernetes based systems.
• High technical understanding of Kubernetes, asynchronous flows
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly reflect quality status, risks, and priorities.
• Passionate about AI and actively explores new ways to apply AI tools to improve productivity, quality, debugging, and QA efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, data security, SaaS, cloud-native, or enterprise software.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, SQL, or backend data validation.
• Experience defining QA KPIs, dashboards, automation metrics, or release quality reports.
