Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electric overhead traveling cranes
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns efficiently and effectively
Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and solutions
Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all service activities using mobile devices
Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on equipment
Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and efficiency
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety standards
Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including potential after-hours work

Qualifications

Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or related field
Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repair, and servicing
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering disciplines and mechanical systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in using mobile devices for documentation and reporting
Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to work at heights and in various industrial environments
Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
Strong commitment to health and safety practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Flexibility to work extra hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with overhead cranes and hoists is a plus
