Group Leader

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Leader to join our innovative and energetic team. As a Group Leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our microservices platform, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will be a key customer-facing representative, leveraging your expertise to work closely with our offshore clients and stakeholders, requiring excellent English-speaking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Oversee the design and development of our microservices platform, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Engage closely with offshore customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure designs and implementations are compliant with specifications and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement by exploring and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
• Support the delivery and customer support teams in implementing successful projects based on the platform.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code as needed.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively representing the company to offshore clients.
• Proven experience in server-side/enterprise application development.
• Extensive experience with Java 11 and Spring framework.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of clustering and microservices-based architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kiali) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent leadership abilities.
• Customer-oriented approach with a proven track record of working effectively with offshore clients.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.
• Self-learner and passionate about new technologies.
