About the job

Content design makes Flare accessible to both clients and attorneys.

As a Content Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping user experience for a variety of legal tech products and audiences. You’ll help drive the vision for their content and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceive, design and build better experiences.

Guided by Flare’s tone and voice, you will use language to help clients understand complex processes, and design information for the way users consume it. You'll conduct user research, participate in usability sessions and analyze feedback to continually improve messaging. You’ll make our experiences more accessible and inclusive, shine a light on the value behind our products, and maintain standards that keep Flare consistent. Beyond addressing UX challenges, you'll promote best practices, foster understanding among colleagues, and drive a strategic and collaborative content design approach.

What you’ll do?

Write clear, concise and accessible interface content across a variety of client-facing digital products, shaping key experiences like client onboarding and case management.
Lead content design efforts for product teams and develop expertise in features, functionality, user pain points and business goals.
Collaborate closely with product designers from kick-off to release, continuously refining design concepts, workflows, and patterns.
Cultivate collaborative relationships across teams, advocating for effective content design and aligning product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers around common goals.
Clearly present ideas and decisions across teams, explaining the rationale to secure stakeholder support and ensure successful implementation.
Elevate the content design craft at Flare by contributing to standards, guidelines, and methods, driving continuous improvement.

Who you are?

2+ years of experience creating UX content for software interfaces (experience in marketing writing - advantage).
A strong communicator with an understanding of how content drives business goals.
Working knowledge of design methods and tools, including Figma.
Experience working on web and mobile in an agile development environment.
A team player confident enough to stand up when they know they’ve got a good idea & when someone else’s is better.
