Are you passionate about Cloud Services? Are you motivated to work in a fast pace complex, diverse and global environment? Like knowing how Cloud hosted application are performing? We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our talented team and help us to:

• Enable applications to configure their application and infrastructure monitoring and automation using Cloud native and on prem tools
• Define and document standardise processes
• Automate application and infrastructure provisioning and management
• Build automated solutions and self help tools to service stakeholders
• Everything as a code approaches, and can automate and abstract operational aspect from application teams.

Your team

The AS Cloud Monitoring and Automation Engineering (CMAE) team within Technology Services is responsible for the evaluation, design and integration of solutions and tooling to address the core functional requirements to provide IT Operational assurance in the Cloud.
You'll be working within our Global team and report into the CMAE lead. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in enable Cloud Monitoring best practices across the globe and in designing and building solutions and where possible, automate procedures. You will be working with stakeholders on a daily basis and must be comfortable to lead, collaborate and drive results.

The wider AS teams are located in India, Singapore, US, UK, Israel, Switzerland and Poland

Your expertise

• Hands-on IT application development in SRE/DevOps environments.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Azure native monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, Automation, budgeting alerts) or equivalents like AWS CloudWatch and Google Cloud Logs Explorer.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code, with required experience in ARM templates and beneficial knowledge of Terraform and BICEP.
• Strong Python programming skills, with additional experience in tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Kafka, LGTM, and BigPanda.
• Familiarity with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerized environments is a plus.
• Data-driven mindset, capable of analyzing usage and spend, and recommending optimizations.
• Proven track record in delivering and supporting complex IT solutions involving vendor products and cloud integrations.
• Understanding of enterprise CI/CD pipelines, including tools like GitLab and Azure DevOps, and familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
