IT Support Specialist (Part time position)

About the position

We are seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team for a part time position (70%). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS systems, cloud technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Provide support for all end users, both remotely and in person and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including those related to macOS, Windows, and Linux, audiovisual systems, office networks, peripherals, and software.
Participate in asset management activities related to both hardware and software.
Perform routine employee lifecycle-related tasks including onboarding and offboarding IT procedures.
Draft and update detailed internal and end user facing documentation related to supported technologies and processes.
Implement and oversee system upgrades and migrations to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Create and update standard operating procedures for IT-related tasks.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Could be a last year student for the same.

Experience:

+2 Years experience supporting end users both in-person and remotely.

Skills and Abilities:

proven experience in IT systems administration, preferably in a SaaS environment
Knowledge of Operating systems: Linux, Windows, and Mac
Experience with network security, firewalls, IAM solutions (Okta), EDR systems (Sentinel1) and MDM’s.
Proficiency in English
Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure - Advantage.
Knowledge of information security compliance controls (ISO 27001, SOC2) - Advantage.
