Quality Manager

What Would You Be Doing?

We’re looking for a QA expert with extensive experience to join our Commit teams as a Quality Manager:

· Manage QA Team: Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals embedded within scrum teams.

· Lead Automation Tests: Oversee the design and implementation of automated tests using Java, Selenium, and Applitools.

· Quality Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for quality assurance throughout the organization.

· Quality Ownership: Be the QA owner of relevant user stories, from inception to delivery within development teams.

· Collaboration: Work closely with development engineers, product management, DevOps, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and high-quality delivery.

· Tight Release Schedules: Execute QA cycles on a tight release schedule.

· Debugging: Debug failures in complex environments.

· Test Scenarios: Write well-designed, testable, efficient testing scenarios.

· Scrum Team Participation: Actively participate in scrum teams, collaborating closely with the product owner.

· Compliance: Ensure testing is compliant with specifications and standards.

Requirements:

What Do We Need From You?

· At least 3 years of experience in manual QA.

· At least 2 years of experience testing web applications, including both UI/UX and APIs to the backend.

· Knowledge: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

· Agile/Scrum: Experience in Agile/Scrum development.

· Communication: Fluent in English or very comfortable with it.

· Technical Understanding: Understanding of clustering and microservices-based architecture.

· Leadership: Ability to work according to standards and mentor team members with best practices.

· Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal skills with leadership abilities.

· Flexibility: Ability to work in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.

· Self-Learner: Passionate about new technologies and continuous learning.

Nice to Have:

· NoSQL Databases: Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

· Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring and visualization tools like Prometheus, Kibana, or Elastic Search.
