CM Market Data Analyst

Job Description:

Job Purpose

Become part of a team of experienced analysts to provide real time market data to top clients in the financial industry. Establish and implement data management procedures, develop tools and methodologies to respond to the fast-growing needs of the Commodity market data business.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility of data for the Commodity derivatives product.
Responsible for providing customers with accurate and timely answers to their data related questions.
Proactively design, build and maintain reports and dash boards in addition to monitoring and maintaining the integrity and validity of the data.
Work closely with other internal departments and resources including, Product Management, R&D, and operations to develop workflows, quality assurance processes and product enhancements.
Proactively perform deep dive analysis and research and provide insights that will lead the business growth
Analyze large, complex data sets, see beyond numbers, and help to inform, influence, support and execute our business decisions

Knowledge and Experience

BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistic, Financial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in a data\BI role or in the financial industry.
Experience working with data products and platforms - an advantage
Strong analytic and organizational skills with acute attention to details.
Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills to solve problems.
Self-learner and self-starter
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams to facilitate data management processes and solutions
SQL, Python - a must. Any other scripting language is an advantage.
MBA /MA - an advantage

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
