Junior Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of our day-to-day financial operations and payroll for our Israel-based team. In this role, you will manage full-cycle bookkeeping and oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll process with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and accountability.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure compliance with Israeli labor laws and tax regulations, support month-end and year-end closing processes, and assist with audit preparation. This is a hands-on role suited for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across multiple financial systems.Responsibilities:Own full-cycle bookkeeping activities through the trial balance stage.Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for Israel-based employees.Ensure full compliance with Israeli tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax.Prepare and submit statutory payrדרישות:2-3+ years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll.Certified Bookkeeper (Type 2 or 3) and Certified Payroll Clerk.Proven experience with full-cycle bookkeeping through trial balance and month-end close.Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll, labor laws, and tax reporting requirements.Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Michpal, and Excel (or similar systems).Experience in a high-tech company or CPA firm - an advantage.Fluent in Hebrew and high-level English (written and spoken).Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. המשרה מיועדת לנשים ולגברים כאחד.
