as a staff engineer in the  data & ai platform group, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for driving the design, implementation, and delivery of complex, high-impact features across our data and ai ecosystem. you will set engineering standards, lead cross-team initiatives, and provide hands-on technical guidance to developers working on large-scale, cloud-native distributed systems.

7+ years of hands-on experience developing and designing large-scale, distributed, cloud-based systems. strong experience with aws, cloud-native architecture, microservices, event-driven design, containers, and serverless patterns. proficiency in at least one modern  backend language (  Python is an advantages). proven experience leading complex engineering initiatives involving multiple teams. demonstrated ability to mentor developers and influence technical strategy. strong understanding of  data systems, databases, messaging/streaming technologies, and high-throughput pipelines. solid experience with ci/cd,  DevOps practices, automated testing, and production operations. excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. advantages
