Full Stack Tech Lead

A defense-tech startup, building an AI-powered autonomous systems that connect cameras, sensors, and natural-language interfaces, is looking for a Full Stack Tech Lead. In this role, you’ll be one of our first engineers. You’ll shape architecture, set engineering standards, and lead the development of real-time, AI-first features for high-stakes environments.

What You’ll Do

Lead development across the stack, from design to deployment
Own architecture decisions for scale, speed, and reliability
Turn ML outputs into clear, user-friendly interfaces
Build production-ready systems with strong observability
Mentor teammates and influence engineering culture
Work closely with ML, product, and design to ship fast

Requirements:

5+ years in full stack development, with 1–2 in a lead role
Strong with React, TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), and PostgreSQL
Experienced in system design and scaling backend services
Product-driven, accountable, and action-oriented
Passionate about impactful technology

Nice to Have

Experience with LLMs, computer vision, vector DBs, or agents
Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Worked on on-premises deployments
Background in startups or early-stage teams
