SolarEdge is expanding its data and analytics capabilities and is seeking a BI Development Team Leader to lead a team of talented BI developers.

The role includes end‑to‑end ownership of development, delivery, and implementation of advanced BI solutions using Qlik Sense, Power BI, and AI‑driven tools. This position requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with global business units to deliver impactful, data‑driven insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BI development team.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and analytical solutions using Qlik Sense and Power BI.
• Collaborate closely with global business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Manage and drive cross-organizational BI initiatives, working with IT, Data, and business teams.
• Integrate AI and machine-learning capabilities into BI solutions, including developing automation processes and AI agents to support decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and standardization of metrics, data models, and dashboards.
• Work with modern data architectures (Data Lake / Data Warehouse) in cloud-based environments.
• Build and maintain a strong self service infrastructure and governance.
• Ensure delivery quality, adherence to timelines, and continuous improvement of development processes.

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on BI development experience.
• Proven experience with Qlik Sense and/or Power BI – must.
• Experience managing or leading a BI development team – strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, analytical concepts, and complex data structures.
• Experience with AI/ML tools or integrating AI into BI workflows – must.
• Experience with Databricks SQL & Pyspark or Snowflake
• Experience in a global enterprise environment – advantage.
• Strong business orientation and the ability to understand end-to-end business processes.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate a professional team.
• Systemic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple global stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
