Mechanical Engineer

Flying Production, a leading drone development company in Israel and worldwide, is growing and looking for Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineer for the Aero mechanical design team   What will you do: Mechanical design of drone, various aerial platforms and mechanism design using advanced materials and manufacturing technologies Handling challenges across multiple aspects, including thermal management, PID control, material strength, electrical packaging etc. Conducting experiments, analyzing test results, and assessing their impact on the product and its components Preparing drawings and technical documents such as specifications, test plans and more Providing engineering support to manufacturing departments Working in a multidisciplinary environment with other departments at the company and managing the product from start to finish Participating in evaluations, design reviews, and risk assessments Working independently and as part of a team     What we are looking for: Talented mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with passion to developing the future solutions, learning new things and to be a part of winning team At least three years of experience in engineering design and end-to-end project management At least two years of experience in the aviation, space, drone, or model aircraft fields (professionally or as a hobby) Proven experience in development multidisciplinary systems integrating mechanics, electronics, software and mechanism design Strong engineering understanding and ability to perform various engineering calculations Knowledge of material strength, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, plastic injection, 3D printing, coatings, adhesives etc.) Deep knowledge of technical drawings, production files, and transitioning designs from development to production Expert proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD software Experience in structural and thermal analysis using SOLIDWORKS (advantage) Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (advantage) Experience in injection molding design (advantage) Proficiency in MS Office software   Languages: Proficiency in Hebrew and technical English, including experience in technical writing in both languages
