Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience to join a core R&D team in the clean energy sector.

In this role, you will take ownership of the mechanical design and development of complex multidisciplinary systems involving fluid flow, energy, and heat transfer.

You will lead the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping through detailed engineering, validation, and transfer to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Mechanical Design: Lead conceptual and detailed mechanical design of new systems, including concept development, 3D modeling, and prototype development.
• Product Development & Manufacturing: Support the entire product lifecycle, from R&D and prototyping to full-scale production.
• Technical Leadership: Conduct and participate in engineering design reviews (PDR/CDR), support existing systems, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Define technical specifications for components and provide technical guidance to suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad.
• Testing & Validation: Plan, execute, and support complex engineering tests, system validation activities, and field demonstrations.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Professional Experience: 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design and multidisciplinary system development.
• Hands-on Development: Proven experience leading mechanical development from initial concept through manufacturing and production.
• CAD Expertise: Full proficiency in CAD software, including 3D modeling, technical drawings, and assembly design.
• System-Level Understanding: Strong technical knowledge of fluid flow systems, energy systems, and heat transfer principles.
• Engineering Documentation: Experience preparing and managing technical and engineering documentation, along with familiarity with various manufacturing technologies.
• English: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Advantages

• Experience working with production lines, industrial automation, and PLC systems.
• Background in process engineering or chemical engineering.
• Previous experience with energy generation systems.
