QA Engineer (Student Position)

Upstream is looking for a QA Engineer, in a student position, to join our Engineering team and help build the company’s cloud cybersecurity platform for the automotive and smart mobility ecosystem.

This role is part-time and is Herzliya Israel based.

Requirements:

BSc.Student in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems Engineering - a must
At least two years until graduation
Availability for at least two working days a week - from office.
Basic knowledge in SQL - a must
Ability to research and resolve technical issues
Highly organized and able to consistently deliver excellent quality on a timely manner
Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)
Experience working with automation tools such as Tesitm.io / Playwright / Cypress - an advantage
Proven experience in functional, regression, and integration testing - an advantage

Responsibilities:

Create and execute manual tests
Create and maintain automated tests using automation tools with scripts and recording tools
Collaborate daily with our R&D teams to identify and resolve problems found during testing
Work in close cooperation with product management and developers
Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of existing and new products
Work according to high execution standards, while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality
