Wahat al-Salam Neve Shalom seeks grant writer

Seeking a skilled and motivated Writer/Grant Writer/Media person to join the communications and development team of the Educational Institutions of Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom. This is an opportunity to help us raise the funding we need to support and operate the country’s oldest binational, bilingual educational institutions, including a primary school, the School for Peace, the Spiritual Center, Oasis Art Gallery and more. You will also help us publicize our work, though our website, social media and newsletters.
You will work as a part of the C&D team, but we also seek people who can take initiative and work independently.
We are looking for someone with:
• Excellent written English a must, plus Hebrew and/or Arabic
• Proven experience in nonprofit grant writing, reporting, and donor communications
• Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to craft compelling and clear narratives
• Proven experience in social media campaigning and video editing
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the values of Wahat al-Salam, Neve Shalom

Working Conditions
• Hours are negotiable, around half time
• Flexible working, at least 1 ½ days in the office
• Starting salary ₪7,000, based on the candidate’s skills and agreed-upon work hours
