Position Overview:

As the R&D Group Leader for our Guardian SaaS product, you will lead a team of approximately 20 talented professionals in developing cutting-edge SaaS-enabled solutions. Your mission is to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and align development efforts with Cellebrite's strategic goal of strengthening our customers through SaaS offerings. Reporting to the VP R&D, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our SaaS product line and contributing to the company's overall success in the digital intelligence market.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of 20 R&D professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Recruit and retain top talent to maintain a high-performing team
Develop and implement career growth plans for team members

Product Development and Strategy

Own and drive the development roadmap for the Guardian SaaS product
Collaborate closely with Product Management to align development priorities with market needs and company strategy
Present plans, progress, and success stories to upper management

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Embrace a deep passion for innovation, driving both yourself and the team to challenge the status quo and pioneer cutting-edge solutions.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the SaaS and digital intelligence domains.

Technical Oversight

Oversee all aspects of R&D development, including methodologies, processes, tools, guidelines, and standards
Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development and cloud technologies
Drive technical decision-making and architecture choices for the Guardian product

Project Management

Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
Identify and mitigate risks in the development process
Implement and refine agile development practices to improve team efficiency and product quality

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with other departments such as Product Management, DevOps, and Customer Support to ensure seamless product development and delivery
Participate in strategic planning sessions to align R&D efforts with company-wide initiatives

Requirements:

3+ years of experience managing a technical development team, including serving as a managers (Team leaders)
Hands-on experience in cloud development with strong understanding of cloud architecture and design
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Proven track record as a passionate and inspirational leader
Demonstrated capability to rapidly acquire new technologies and skills
Innovative mindset, always looking to challenge the status quo and drive improvement
Strong people skills with the ability to lead by example
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, highly motivated, and driven by success
Positive and collaborative attitude
Strong product leadership skills with a high customer-oriented approach
High presentation skills with a high level of English proficiency for communicating with customers and managers
Experience working with AWS
Familiarity with the digital intelligence industry or related fields
