About this Role

We’re looking for a seasoned and hands-on Data team lead to build and manage our data infrastructure from the ground up. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys shaping strategy as much as writing code and playing with data models, and wants to make a major impact in a high-growth startup.

What You’ll Do:

Hire, lead data scientist and ML-OPS, and data engineers.
Design, build, and lead a modern Data Lake architecture on AWS.
Build & Refine the company's AI / ML algorithms.
Work with large-scale, complex datasets in distributed environments.
Build foundational infrastructure to support analytics and machine learning workflows.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data operation.
2+ years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Go experience – a strong advantage.
Experience building and maintaining Data Lakes and Data Pipelines.
Deep experience with AWS and tools such as S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, etc.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in NLP and Deep Learning.
Strong system thinking, architecture skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
