Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Be part of the team responsible for the Metrology system technology transfer from R&D to MFG.
Support the development & manufacturability of multidisciplinary systems for semiconductor metrology applications.
Manage work plans: Build process, Fixtures, Test plans, Training.
Trouble-shoot system and subsystem-related issues. Perform analysis to validate multidisciplinary system performance.
Work with System, Optics, ME & SW R&D teams to build and use the multidisciplinary tools effectively and optimize tool performance.
Provide design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback to product design engineers.
Travel to vendors and customers. Up to 20% Travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications

BSC in Mechanical (Optics) Engineering with at least 5 years of experience.
Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
CAD mechanical design using CREO, SolidWorks
Experience with manufacturing technologies (Machining, 3D, Coating, Sheetmetal)
Build prototypes and validate designs.
Experience with small and accurate mechanisms.
Basic knowledge of vacuum systems a plus
Experience in the NPI area.
Experience with multidisciplinary system development or manufacturing is a must.
Experience in the Semiconductor industry is an advantage.
Effective organization and prioritization skills.
Fluent in English and high presentation skills.
