Senior Backend Engineer for Server Core

Our team focuses on designing distributed systems, working with various technologies, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high performance and availability.

In our team we build datastore and caching infrastructure and products for Wix developers, supporting distributed systems and ensuring high performance and scalability.

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Server Core team, you'll design and build scalable solutions for data storage and caching. In your day-to-day, you will: 

•  Build and design datastore and cache solutions 
•  Help, advise, and guide users to get the most out of our products 
•  Work with internal Wix infrastructure teams 
• Collaborate with external suppliers like AWS

•  6+ years of experience in server-side technologies
•  Experience designing and developing distributed systems for high-scale traffic 
• Hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead tasks 
• Interest in leading people in the future
•  Proficiency in Scala or Java would be an advantage
