Data analyst

Our research team is growing and looking for a security-oriented Data analyst.

As a Data Analyst in the Cyberint research team specializing in threat intelligence, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data related to cybersecurity threats.

Your insights will contribute to proactive measures and overall vendor security posture.

You’ll work closely with the development team and threat intelligence team leveraging your Python skills and data analysis expertise to extract meaningful information from large datasets.

We are seeking an autodidact with a strong foundation in Python coding, cyber security research, and analytics skills, coupled with exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record of collaborative teamwork.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience with intelligence analysis processes (army included), including Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Web Intelligence (WEBINT) gathering and link analysis- A Must
Understand common attack vectors (e.g., phishing, malware, DDoS)- A Must
2 years of experience in Python coding, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code - A Must
Inherent passion for Infosec and service excellence, understanding of cybersecurity
Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills
A team player who is eager to learn new methods and develop themselves and their team
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Track record of taking ideas from conception to fruition, with experience in the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Monitor Cyberint’s knowledge base for maintenance and refinement.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving threat landscapes to produce actionable intelligence alerts and reports.
Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and algorithms to automate threat detection, analysis, data collection, etc.
Query databases and utilize APIs to collect and insert relevant threat data.
Identifying and developing Cyberint’s data sources to collect the most relevant intelligence (darknet, forums, social media, marketplaces, etc.)
Develop tools and services to provide insights into data collected and advise on action plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative intelligence solutions.

Advantage:

Experience with GraphQL and Elasticsearch querying.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Cybersecurity and computer science publications (Blogs, Projects, GitHub repos).
