Job Description

Tower Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Engineer to lead process development, technology transfer, and tool/process optimization in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing fab located in Migdal HaEmek, Israel.

Tower Fab2 is a fast-growing manufacturing facility specializing in high-performance semiconductor devices for diverse applications. With a focus on delivering exceptional quality, cost efficiency, and optimized cycle times, the fab presents an exciting environment for innovation and leadership.

In this role, you will:

Sustain, improve, and develop processes within a volume manufacturing facility.

Partner with Operations, Equipment Engineering Support, Integration, and R&D teams to ensure products are delivered on time and to customer specifications.

Interface with global counterparts to benchmark and drive process and procedure improvements company-wide.

Create and/or modify operations specifications.

We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on process and equipment experience, outstanding experimental and analytical skills, and a solid foundation in semiconductor materials, processes, and metrology techniques.

This Job Is For You If:

You have experience with sustaining and improving processes in a high volume manufacturing environment.
You are an expert in monitoring and controlling processes, troubleshooting yield problems, developing process enhancements, and implementing new processes to address quality and bottleneck situations.
You have experience installing and qualifying of new tools and process technologies.
You have in depth experience supporting process and technology transfers.
You have in depth experience with troubleshooting taskforces as needed and helping develop solutions that prevent recurrence.
You have experience working with and supporting Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technologies meet all qualification and reliability requirements.
You have experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma processes - preferred.
Job Requirements

Must Have:

B.S. Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering

5 years of experience working as a Process Engineer.

Ability to execute definable portions of a project or lead own small projects

Ability to use knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems

Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs

Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team or environment

Nice to Have:

M.Sc. degree Materials or Chemical Engineering

Experience in Etch processes – a significant advantage.
