Software Engineering Manager - Machine Learning

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of Machine Learning Engineers and Software Engineers. Our team is driving impact by understanding buyers and their needs, and matching them with products, information, and presenting it in a way that serves them best. Software Engineering Manager - Machine Learning Responsibilities:

Lead teams to deliver complex, high-impact projects in ambiguous environments
Drive technical strategy and roadmap development with your team and cross-functional partners
Leverage expertise in a specific ML domain to inform decision-making and drive innovation
Collaborate with multiple functions to drive engineering initiatives and organizational impact
Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
Set clear goals and expectations, measuring team impact and driving continuous improvement
Partner with leadership to shape organizational design, contributions, and priorities
Foster good relationships with Cross Functional Partners and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
Balance technical depth with people management skills to support team growth and development

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience supporting machine learning teams, with a solid understanding of ML principles, practices and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience managing technical teams, with a track record of driving growth and development
Knowledge of growing teams and/or organizations, with experience in change management and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building and optimizing ranking systems, with background in algorithms and data analysis
Familiarity with eCommerce environments and experience working on technical projects in this space
