The Global Account Manager is responsible to lead and coordinate the marketing and commercial activities of his/her account. Responsible to connect between request from customer to Arkal organization and vise versa. Plan, coordinate and record the RFQ activities, leads initiatives to optimize costs and prices and meet target prices provided by customer/CSM. Takes responsibility for closing open issues with the customer related to the commercial activity. Responsible for updating the organization's systems, update prices, expected quantities, contracts and customer purchase orders.
The Global Account Manager HQ is supported for all technical related customer specifications from the Technical Sales Engineer and the HQ Engineering.
Essential duties and responsibilities
o Manage RFQ process according to ARKAL internal procedure and ensures the compliance.
o Plan and execute Pre-RFQ activities as per ARKALs acquisition process.
o Ensures to provide the key deliverables on time
o Download customer RFQs from the customer portals and start the RFQ activities
o Prepare the cost calculation and challenge the cost.
o Responsible to prepare the cost break down in coordination with the CSM and TSE
o Coordinates global account activities from planning phase, project phase, serial phase until EOP and manage service part requirements.
o Initiate negotiation needs and defines activities in alignment with the CSM
o Drive commercial aspects of the EC process and define “Red Line” margins to meet the overall project targets.
o Being part of the Project Team and coordinate all commercial related topics.
o Being responsible for the contract check in accordance with the offer submitted, documentation of the contract and upload them into the ERP, PLM and customer systems.
o Price list – manage and update customer’s price list in the ERP based on contracts
o TPO & Purchase order – Open new tooling orders in ERP system, control the process, and document the data in Arkal’s systems
o Orderbook – Receive the forecast volumes from customer and update in alignment with the Supply Chain, CSM and Management.
o Maintains the Piece Price History
o Lead and coordinate RFQ activities and internal task follow up
o Project Budget review – support project managers to issue and update project budget
o Pipe line – update the RFQ parameters in the pipe line list regularly (Annual sales, due dates, feedback)
o Follow up on Global Open issues – update the long-term issues.
o Coordinate the global claim and price adjustment activities.
