Front-End Team Lead

What You'll Do:
Lead a dynamic team of React developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering their professional development.
Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and performant code.
Architect and implement scalable front-end solutions, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build performant web apps
Champion clean code, maintainability, and continuous improvement within the front-end codebase. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to ensure high-quality code that can be shared and reused across projects
Manage sprints as a Scrum Master, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and delivery of tasks while fostering collaboration and addressing blockers.
Keeping a finger on the pulse of industry trends and technologies, particularly those revolving around React and React Native, to ensure our front-end systems continue to shine.
Create pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Mentorship: Mentor team members, fostering their growth and skill development.
Hiring: Take charge of the hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to making final hiring decisions, maintain a high-performing team that fit the company's culture.
What You Bring:
2+ years of experience as a team leader
6+ years of experience as a front-end developer, with a strong focus on modern SPA platforms
Robust knowledge in JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax.
Experience building responsive and user-friendly web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging with modern development tools like Storybook, Jest, ESlint and more
Exceptional people skills, coupled with an inspirational leadership style that motivates and guides team members towards success.
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Bonus Points:
Experience with React, React Native + Expo
Familiarity with Monorepo projects structure
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development
Previous experience in a startup environment
