Training Coordinator

TRAINING COORDINATOR Purpose of the job: Coordinate the planning, logistics, documentation, and delivery of training for the Tel Aviv Green Line LRT Project. The role aligns training activities with the phased operational strategy, manages international expert mobilization, and leads project instructors and subsystem suppliers to equip Operator and Maintainer Instructors to operate and maintain project assets safely and effectively. Key accountabilities: Coordinate the integrated training schedule and maintain alignment with the Green Line Phased Operational Strategy, project milestones, site readiness, and instructor availability. Coordinate mobilization arrangements with HR, Administration, and relevant project stakeholders. Control the end-to-end flow of training materials, including receipt, registration, review of coordination, version status, distribution, records, and traceability across relevant entities. Coordinate with Project Training Instructors and subsystem suppliers to ensure preparation and delivery of training programs. Manage subsystem training preparation, readiness reviews, execution, attendance records, issue resolution, and post-training follow-up. Act as the primary coordination interface with relevant representatives for training dates, facilities, participants, prerequisites, and acceptance-related documentation During the training sessions and in closed alignment with T&C managers. Support the selection and onboarding of Project Training Instructors, coordinate their preparation, maintain their delivery schedule, and confirm assignment readiness. Establish and maintain tracking mechanisms for training completion, attendance, material status, open actions, feedback, and effectiveness of indicators. Including where needed operation of a training planning software Control training logistics at the Holon depot, Holon offices, and other project facilities, including rooms, training aids, access, equipment, safety prerequisites, and practical-work arrangements. Coordinate with 3rd party LRT training school. Escalate schedule, resource, supplier, documentation, facility, and readiness risks to the ILS Training Manager, with clear recovery actions and owners, Identify and maintain a training risk register, including mitigation actions and ownership tracking. Maintain structured training records and provide concise status reporting to support project governance, handover, and audit readiness. Monitor competency achievement and qualification readiness against the project training strategy. MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Mandatory : University degree in Management, Education, Logistics, or equivalent field. Proven experience in training coordination, scheduling, logistics management, document control, and stakeholder interfaces in a complex project environment. Fluent professional English and Hebrew. Desirable: Relevant certification in training coordination, project coordination, or logistics. Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), international expert mobilization, supplier coordination, or rail projects.
