Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our website and content to increase organic search visibility, drive traffic, and improve user engagement. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and other marketing team members to implement SEO best practices and achieve business goals.

Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities for content and link-building strategies.
Optimize on-page SEO factors, including meta tags, header tags, URL structure, and internal linking.
Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies to increase backlinks and domain authority.
Perform regular website audits to ensure technical SEO health (site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, etc.).
Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
Generate regular SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights to improve rankings and traffic.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content strategies that align with business objectives.
Work with developers to ensure proper website structure and ensure SEO best practices are followed in website builds and updates.
Requirements
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics as it relates to SEO.
Experience with link-building strategies and outreach.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with local SEO strategies.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on SEO.
Familiarity with paid search (PPC) and other digital marketing strategies.
