Linux System Administrator

DESCRIPTION

abra professional services is seeking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a classified defense-related project. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems in a dynamic and heterogeneous environment.

Responsibilities include:

Deployment and maintenance of computing solutions for complex command-and-control systems
Troubleshooting customer issues both on-site and in project laboratories across multiple locations
Providing fast and flexible solutions for users working in complex, multi-environment development systems
Writing technical specifications, procedures, and operational documentation
Integrating with interfacing systems and platforms
Working in a dynamic and heterogeneous production environment
Full on-site position at the company’s offices in Holon (not a hybrid role)
REQUIREMENTS

Technical Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Linux-based operating systems
Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory / Domain environments
Strong understanding of operating system processes
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Experience setting up Domain Controllers (DC) and creating and deploying Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Experience installing and managing digital certificates (Microsoft CA)
Experience managing virtualized environments (VMs) – VM creation, network configuration, snapshots
Familiarity with NetApp storage systems – an advantage

Additional Requirements

Ability to integrate into an existing IT team with strong self-learning capabilities
Position requires security clearance (candidates without clearance may undergo the classification process)
Valid driver’s license (Class B / 02)
Willingness to work non-standard hours when required
Willingness to travel and work at multiple sites locally and abroad
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
