Our team provide applications and add-on software modules to enable advance services over the Sony Semiconductor Israel IoT modem.

The team tasks are versatile and include communication protocols, security solutions and IoT services.

We practice top of the art code disciplines to optimize power and memory size. We are involved in all stages of development, from architecture and design to testing and customer support.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, SW engineering or computer science.
Minimum 5 years of experience in C programming for embedded systems.
Proven experience in developing software for multi-threaded operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Embedded Linux).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.
Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
Quick learner, motivated, self-driven and independent.

Advantages

Knowledge of networking stack and protocols TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc.
Familiar with LTE.
Experience with Python for testing, analysis, and other applications.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers, architecture, and product teams to define the right features and solutions to our product portfolio.
Design and implement features optimized for Sony's flagship IoT products, specializing in low-memory and low-power consumption.
Drive end-to-end development of features, ensuring performance, power consumption, reliability, and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Software, System Validation, Architecture, and Product, to deliver high-quality solutions.
