Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our Mobile Team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and functionality of our iOS , Android and Mac OS applications. Your testing will directly contribute to providing our users with a seamless and reliable experience, helping us deliver innovative features that meet the needs of creators worldwide.

What will your day to day look like:

Your role involves testing new features by collaborating with the team to execute test cases, provide feedback, and ensure functionality across platforms like iOS, Android, macOS, and Web. You’ll conduct regression testing, document and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and maintain test plans. Acting as a user advocate, you’ll validate usability and performance while suggesting improvements. You’ll also support automation efforts and actively participate in team meetings to ensure quality deliverables.

Your areas of expertise most relevant to this role:

Experience: 4+ years in manual testing, including 2+ years in mobile app testing for iOS and Android.
Mobile Expertise: Skilled in testing mobile applications across devices, screen sizes, and OS versions, with experience in functional, UI/UX, and non-functional testing (performance, security).
Testing Tools: Proficient in JIRA, TestRail, Xray, Bugzilla, and basic API testing with Postman.
Test Case Design & Execution: Experienced in designing comprehensive test cases covering edge cases, happy flows, and negative scenarios. Proficient in exploratory testing.
Cross-Platform Testing: Expertise in validating app interactions across iOS, Android, macOS, and web, ensuring seamless cross-device compatibility.
Bug Tracking & Reporting: Adept at documenting bugs with clear reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidence using tools like JIRA.
Test Planning & Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed test plans, regression suites, and documentation.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work with developers, product managers, and QA teams, with clear articulation of issues and improvements.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to isolate defects and understand root causes effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of automation testing (Appium) for collaboration with automation engineers.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for QA integration.
