Node.JS Developer - Lead (Remote)

Salary : $80,000 gross per annum

We're building the tools for online commerce that help new businesses get started, expedite growth for existing companies, and empower sellers to reach new heights.

We are looking for a Full Time NodeJS Developer.

We are a completely remote team spread across the world, with a deep passion for making the web a more beautiful, usable, and reliable place.

What you will be responsible for :
Managing a small group of 2-3 software developers
Providing technical leadership to the rest of the team
Allocating tasks and working with other team members and other teams
Selecting the right technology stack and helping with systems design
Improving developer’s productivity
Improving performance in key areas of the product
Ensuring software quality
Reducing technical debt
Writing new features and documentation
Setting up and following software development best practices
Fixing bugs
Collaborating with Product and Customer support teams
Work closely with the Product Manager on defining priorities

What we are looking for :
Proven work experience (+6 years) as a NodeJS backend developer
Solid SQL knowledge
Professional experience building web applications
Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
Fluency in English is a must
You have experience building secure software
You are self-driven and are able to understand complex systems and how to improve them

Nice to have :
Working experience with AWS
Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
Professional experience with React Native desirable
Professional experience with Docker
Experience with VueJS 3
Startup experience desirable
Availability in GMT +/- 3
