Backend Developer

Communix is the biggest up and coming social gaming start-up and we're looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer.

The role will involve working with large scale, distributed systems and constantly coming up with innovative server-side solutions.

Requirements:

2+ years experience as a backend developer
2+ years experience with MySQL, key understanding in query optimization and best practices
High proficiency in Node.JS and JavaScript (including ES6) + socket.io
Experience in cloud environments and deployment, preferably GCP
Experience with distributed systems and micro services architecture
The ability to be self-directed, a natural auto-didact and require minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

Develop APIs and tools used in the core of the company’s operation
Maintain fast-paced deliveries with no compromises on quality and user experience
Implementing new technologies
Develop high performing servers in multi-threaded and complex environments

Advantages:

Prior experience with GCP and MMO server development
DevOps and Applicative DBA experience
Familiarity with Redis
Gaming industry experience
