JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an operations intern who is interested to broaden their knowledge in Customer Service & Logistics in the local market. The intern will work under the supervision of the CS&L Lead in the Philippines and will be required to collaborate with other functions, mainly supply chain hub and commercial functions (Finance/Marketing/ Trade Marketing/Sales).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be required to:

Time & Motion Studies: Conduct analyses of workflows and operational tasks to evaluate demonstrated rates against benchmarks or targets.
Productivity Assessment: Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend optimization strategies to improve performance.
Cost Savings Initiatives: Analyze operations to uncover opportunities for cost reductions while maintaining service levels and quality.
Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in gathering, organizing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes.
Process Improvement Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement efficiency-driven projects.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to align findings with business objectives

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

You will be able to:

Develop an understanding of commercial business and core operations, and gain insights on supply chain optimization.
Analyze data sets and translate insights into optimization projects to deliver commercial objectives.
Develop a deep understanding of the interdependencies between key performance indicators (KPIs) and how changes in one metric influence others.
Communicate with other functions in the right language and collaborate with impact.

Educational background – Engineering/Business/Supply Chain related education
Interest in understanding how businesses works and how decisions are made
Interest to support business activities from supply chain
Proficiency in MS Excel, other data analysis tools, and software/systems
