VP Finance

As our VP of Finance, you will be a key member of the leadership team, owning all financial aspects of the business. This is a Hands-on position when you will ensure financial health and stability, CF predictability, designing scalable systems, and providing strategic guidance to the leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of a high-potential startup in a scale phase and build a finance organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team in scaling the business.

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.

Prepare and maintain financial documentation, models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.

Investor Relations

Own board-level financial reporting and updates to existing investors, including modeling, pitch support, diligence prep, and Bord/investor engagement.

Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors, financial institutions, and advisors.

Financial Operations & Planning

Build and scale financial systems, processes, and controls appropriate for a scaling company.

Oversee budgeting together with CEO and COO, cash flow management, and internal financial reporting, FP&A, tax and audit.

Drive improvements in operational efficiency, margin optimization, and unit economics.

Implement strong business intelligence and reporting frameworks.

Be involved in pricing and unit economics analysis.

Work with the sales team on the Pipeline as part of the financial planning.

Manage the billing, collection, invoicing, and vendor payments globally (and salaries).

Compliance & Risk Management & Insurance

Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements - local and global.

Collaborate with legal and HR to manage risk and maintain governance best practices.

Manage the company’s required insurance certificates

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with heads of Sales, Marketing, Product, to drive financial alignment.

Analyze unit economics, pricing strategy, and key SaaS metrics .

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.

Requirements:

8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5+ years in a Head of Finance / VP Finance / CFO role at a venture-backed startup.

Deep understanding of SaaS / tech startup financial metrics and fundraising dynamics.

Strong command of financial modeling, strategic planning, and forecasting.

Experience in a company with global operations.

Demonstrated experience building scalable systems, processes. Experience implementing or scaling ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus.

Past experience in implementing Finance inhouse methodologies

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
