About the team

We are a team developing a high quality microservices and micro frontend services for Qlik Cloud Data Integration product. Based in Kfar Saba. As a test developer in the team, you will collaborate with other developers and test engineers as you help securing the quality of our feature deliveries. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team in a mature organization that will give you stability in your work environment, opportunity to grow and develop and also the opportunity to affect the daily work and how we should proceed going forward.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Investigate how new requirements and features fit into our test suites.
Implement new test cases on integration and component level as needed.
Create and execute test plans.
Contribute to our test strategy.
Monitor our test environments and investigate test failures and performance degrades.
Collaborate with the team, architects, test engineers, developers and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the future of quality and testing in the team and at Qlik by being an active voice in our developer community.

Experience & Qualifications

2+ years of experience from working with software testing.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent system analysis skills.
Strong technology background and understanding of different architectures.
Proven ability to work well with others in a fast paced, iterative product definition and development environment.
Fast learner with an ability to pick up new ideas and approaches.
Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas in a group.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitations or enterprise needs.
Windows/Linux knowledge.
Fluency in English.

Bonus skills:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
SQL language, database systems.
Experience in Test automation, API testing, performance testing.
Basic JavaScript knowledge.
Understanding of a microservice architecture.

Location
Kfar Saba or Haifa, Israel. This is not a remote position.
