Senior Backend Engineer

Were looking for Senior Backend Engineer to join our team!

Requirements:

5+ years of experience developing scalable backend code in high level languages
SQL fluency
Experience optimizing ORM-generated SQL queries
Experience writing migrations in raw SQL
Experience working with cloud environments
Experience owning feature development from end-to-end, taking it from idea to production
Experience building testable code, writing CI scripts
Experience working with containers and Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies
Ability to self-educate, working independently and mostly remotely
High motivation and a team-oriented mentality
Great async written English communication skills

Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end backend features
Construct SQL queries using ORM, conducting manual optimizations as needed
Monitor production logs
Troubleshoot issues in production
Plan and execute architectural changes
Fix bugs in backend code
Conduct code reviews for other team members
Cooperate with frontend team to ensure backend & UI cohesion
Write CI tests for your code
