What you’re applying for

As Lemonade scales its business you will lead the charge towards the most efficient Business Applications Systems in the Insurance Industry. Reporting to the Head of Business Applications, you’ll help improve efficiency and profitability while creating automated and scalable business application systems.

In this role you’ll

Lead and implement strategic global initiatives to achieve business goals and operational excellence

Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our company-wide business applications, and translate them into actionable plans

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize them

Tackle large amount of data to understand the impact of automating various processes across the organization

Analyze financial, procurement, and operational data to set accurate depictions of our unit economics—and work to improve them

Partner with stakeholders in the Claims, Insurance, and Operations departments to set priorities of various cross-company projects

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working in Business Applications or 3+ of experience working in consulting, required

Ability to align various stakeholders to drive company-wide projects

Proven experience analyzing and simplifying complex processes that relate to multiple stakeholders in an organization

Experience in determining business requirements, collaborating with procurement, and managing projects that require buy vs. build analysis

Data-driven and analytical thinker

Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills

Experience working with broader finance team (FP&A, Accounting, etc) to understand and improve unit economics a plus

Experience working with Workato or other no-code automation platforms a plus

Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week

Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
