Senior Backend Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who’s eager to become one of our core team members and establish themselves as a significant building block of our products and company at this exciting and critical point in time before we reach greater heights.

RESPONSIBILITY
Research, design, and implement high-performance resilient APIs and services
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing your knowledge and expertise
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver robust solutions in short development iterations
Develop maintainable and clean code with heavy reliance on developer testing
Make thoughtful trade-offs based on business priorities, user needs, and a sustainable technical foundation

REQUIREMENTS
An experienced Backend Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in the field.
Knowledge in Go / Typescript - advantage
Extensive experience with web development practices and methodologies - advantage
Experience with processes such as TDD / Extreme Programming / Kanban - a big plus.
Experience with GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers - a plus
Experience in designing, prioritizing and leading software projects - a plus
Experience working with microservices / event driven architectures.
Can juggle at least three flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle
B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).

EXTRA
Experience in B2B & B2B2C Self-Serve SaaS.
Fintech/Payments industry background.
