Backend Engineer – Founding Team (Tel Aviv)

Reclaim Security is on a mission to shake things up in cybersecurity, and we’re looking for a *highly experienced Backend Engineer* who lives and breathes technology and data to join our founding team in Tel Aviv.

*What You'll Do:*

You’ll be designing and building a *groundbreaking* product from scratch.

That means:

* Owning major parts of the backend and design scalable architectures.
* Develop a reliable, testable production-grade code.
* Integrating with complex customer environments and 3rd parties tools.
* Organise the ever-growing data streams, making them behave, and keeping things running smoothly.
* Finding creative ways to solve really hard problems.
* Navigating the beautiful chaos of an early-stage startup—turning uncertainty into innovation.

* *You’ve got 7+ years* of experience building *complex software systems* in Go, Rust, Python, Java, or Scala.
* You know your way around *cloud-native platforms* (AWS, GCP, Azure) and have *Kubernetes battle scars*.
* You thrive in *startups*—you love *bringing ideas to life*, navigating ambiguity, and turning chaos into structure.
* You actually care about writing *A+ grade code* but know that sometimes you just need to make things work.
* You’re a *team player* who takes ownership and genuinely enjoys *building great software*.

*Bonus Points If You:*

* Have experience with *data processing frameworks* like Apache Spark and Polars.
* Have worked with *APIs, data serialization tools* (Avro, Protobuf), and designed *data architectures*.
* Have a *strong data engineering background*.
