Assistant Controller

As one of the largest People Experience Management Cloud Solutions consulting firms in the EMEA region, AKT is looking for an Assistant Controller.

The Assistant Controller will play a key support role in the company’s financial operations, assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a full-time position available to candidates based in Israel.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the accuracy of financial data
Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly Budgets vs Actuals, forecasts and company goals
Ad-hoc analytical reviews
Assist with preparation of management reports
Support the preparation of annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements
Work with the company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters
Contribute to establishing and maintaining financial key policies, procedures, and controls throughout the entire reporting process
Support the accounting team in various tasks and reporting
Preparing ad hoc reports
Oversee daily operations of financial activities and liaise with service providers

Job Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Audit experience from one of the Big 4 - advantage
1-2 years of post-internship experience in a global company – advantage
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and Israeli GAAP
Proficiency with SAPB1- advantage
Familiarity and understanding of transfer pricing models and international tax planning – advantage
