Junior AWS DevOps

DESCRIPTION

abra-cloud is searching for a Junior DevOps Engineer with up to one year of hands-on professional experience, combined with formal DevOps training and practical exposure to cloud environments—primarily AWS.

This position is designed for DevOps Engineers at the very beginning of their DevOps career who have already worked in a real production or operational environment and are ready to deepen their technical expertise while being mentored by senior DevOps engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructures
Assist in deployment, configuration, and operation of production environments
Take part in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives
Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Monitor systems, review logs, and assist in troubleshooting incidents
Collaborate with internal teams and gain exposure to customer environments
Follow DevOps best practices and contribute to technical documentation

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of a recognized DevOps course
Up to 1 year of professional experience in a DevOps / Cloud / System role
Basic hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)
Experience working in Linux environments
Fundamental knowledge of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, ports)
Basic scripting skills (Bash and/or Python)
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
Strong willingness to learn, high motivation, and a problem-solving mindset

Advantages

Previous background in System / IT / SysAdmin
Experience with Docker or containerized environments
Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions
AWS certifications or active study toward certification
