Appitrack Convoy Supervisor

Purpose of the Job

Appitrack Convoy supervision.

In charge of:

Constitution & organization of the construction team
Ensuring that the work method statements of the Construction are applied
Technical Check (Quality)
Secure the topography compliance and capture of data
Coordination with OPC (Project Site Coordination)
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance
Operational Supervision
Oversee and coordinate the movement of Appitrack convoys on railway construction sites.
Monitor real-time convoy operations and address any deviations from planned routes or schedules.
Ensure proper communication between convoy operators, site engineers, and other stakeholders.
Conduct inspections to verify convoy alignment and system functionality.
Manage the continuous concrete supply.

Mission

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

Management and follow up to the Trackwork Construction & Tests activities.
Client complaints follow-up
Progress reports
Optimisation of Workmanship
QCD

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and railway regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for convoy movements.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific safety standards.
Report and investigate any safety incidents or operational malfunctions.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Identify and resolve technical issues affecting convoy performance.
Liaise with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
Provide hands-on support during convoy setup, testing, and commissioning.
Keep detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and system performance.
Team Leadership & Training
Supervise convoy operators and provide necessary training on Appitrack systems.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for convoy operations.
Act as a point of contact for escalations and decision-making during critical situations.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, railway technology, logistics, or a related field

Desired Knowledge / Experience

3-5 years of experience in railway construction, automated transport systems, or convoy operations.
Previous experience with Appitrack or similar automated track-laying systems is a plus.
Knowledge of railway construction methodologies and automated convoy systems.
Familiarity with control systems, GPS tracking, and remote monitoring tools.
Certifications: Railway safety certifications or Appitrack system training (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving skills under high-pressure situations.
Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
