We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Group Manager to lead our hardware development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of hardware products, ensuring quality, performance, and delivery targets are met. You will oversee a team of hardware team leaders, hardware engineers and hardware technicians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in our hardware products. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance and support for career development.
Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
Lead and manage hardware team leaders, providing guidance, mentor and escort towards project objectives

Project Management:

Oversee the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring project timelines, costs, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with product management, software, and other cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and align on deliverables.
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to deliver products on time and within scope.

Hardware Design and Development:

Provide technical leadership in the design, development, testing, and validation of hardware components and systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure successful production and deployment of hardware products.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in hardware technology and integrate new tools, techniques, and best practices into the team’s workflow.
Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Encourage a creative problem-solving approach within the team to address technical challenges.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the design and production phases.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action processes for hardware failures.

Requirements:

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of experience in hardware development, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
Proven track record of delivering complex hardware products from concept to production.
Experience with hardware development tools, and methodologies (e.g., Orcad, Allegro, LTspice, etc.).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, component selection, and supply chain management.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Familiarity and Power electronics experience
