IT Expert – Testing

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Manage activities related to designing, implementing IT features and executing IT test operations for relevant application/solution in line with the Alstom strategy, roadmap and design of the relevant service/solution.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES :

Hold accountability for IT applications’ testing
Ensure target solutions and applications are designed in line with business requirements and implemented respecting development standards and best practices, in line with Alstom’s IT landscape (Hosting solution, ERP, etc..)
Drive end to end testing of issues with coordination of all stakeholders.
Perform root cause analysis for high priority incidents, developing checklist for recurring problems and work with Solution expert.
Ensure that testing documentation and reports are up to date (e.g., technical specifications, test cases).
Responsible for the technology's testing and installation’s verifications.
Contribute to identify key improvements to development processes and best practices.
Deliver a high level tests for all systems.
Prepare and control the implementation of projects in terms of testing, validating and reporting.
Support Internal/External Audit with relevant documentation and to be compliant with process.
Support and train business key users when needed.
Actively improve one’s own knowledge on the solution/application, stay tuned with technology market evolution and share the knowledge with relevant stakeholders.
Coach IT Specialists and Analysts in the implementation of applications
Drive external resources when applicable
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES;
Educational Requirements :

Mandatory:

2-3 years of experience on testing and designing cyber products

Desirable:

Testing experience from cyber manufacturers
Experience:

Mandatory:

Min 7-8 years of relevant experience in related solutions & process

Expertise in relevant technology/domain

Fluent in English

Desirable:

Related certification
