Role Overview
We’re looking for a highly analytical, execution-oriented CRO Expert to own and scale Atera’s end-to-end conversion optimization program across our PLG, SLG, and ELG motions.
The role combines experimentation, analytics, behavioral insights, UX optimization, and technical tracking ownership to drive measurable impact across the customer journey — from first visit through signup, activation, and revenue generation.

Responsibilities
Own Atera’s full conversion funnel across acquisition, signup, activation, and expansion - continuously identifying friction points, drop-offs, and growth opportunities, driving improvements to trial starts, demo requests, onboarding completion, CVR, and lead quality.
Partner with Product, RevOps, Design, Development, SEO, Paid Media, and Growth teams to implement conversion initiatives; own website forms and lead-routing to ensure high-quality data capture.
Lead the end-to-end experimentation lifecycle - ideation, prioritization, implementation, QA, analysis, and reporting - building a scalable roadmap grounded in behavioral data, customer insights, and funnel analysis. Drive a culture of rapid testing and introduce new methodologies, tools, and personalization capabilities.
Own GA4 event tracking integrity, GTM environments (web, app, server-side), and BigQuery exports. Build dashboards and reporting frameworks; partner with BI and Data teams on funnel, attribution, and experimentation data; manage tracking vendor integrations including fraud/bot prevention (CHEQ).
Leverage quantitative and qualitative research (heatmaps, session recordings..) to uncover user pain points, translating insights into conversion recommendations.
Lead the strategy and optimization of landing pages and campaign experiences; optimize acquisition flows by channel intent, campaign type, and ICP segmentation; drive personalization initiatives based on user intent and audience signals.
Build clear CRO reporting for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders; use data storytelling to influence roadmap prioritization and growth decisions.
Requirements:
Requirements
4+ years in CRO, Growth Marketing, Web Analytics, or Digital Experience Optimization - preferably B2B SaaS - with a proven track record of improving conversion metrics through experimentation.
Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms (VWO, Optimizely, Convert, or similar) and strong expertise in GA4, GTM (client-side and server-side), and Looker Studio.
Experience with behavioral analytics tools (Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) and a strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Familiarity with BigQuery, data pipelines, attribution models, and BI/Data Engineering collaboration; solid understanding of Core Web Vitals and web performance impact on conversion and SEO.
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve research, experimentation velocity, content optimization, and decision-making; CMS experience (WordPress/Gutenberg a plus).
Exceptional communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; self-starter with strong ownership, low-ego, team-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience in PLG SaaS environments; familiarity with personalization platforms and dynamic content optimization.
Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge; experience with Product Growth teams, attribution modeling, LTV models, lifecycle analytics, or enterprise/ABM acquisition journeys.
