Payroll Specialist

Pixellot, the global leader in AI-based automated sports production, seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee payroll operations in Israel and the U.S.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, supporting a growing global workforce and ensuring seamless payroll processes, compliance, and employee experience.

As our Payroll Specialist, you will report directly to the Controller and work closely with the HR team, Sales Operations, and external partners like tax advisors and U.S. payroll providers.

As part of your role, you will:
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in Israel and the U.S., including bonuses, benefits, deductions, and other compensations.
Manage attendance platform (Bob): tracking working hours, sick leave, vacation days, and absences.
Generating monthly payroll journal entries and performing payroll reconciliations with the accounting team (NetSuite).
Coordinate with the pension administrator to verify the accuracy of contributions and pension coverage and ensure full compliance with Israeli labor laws.
Submit reports and filings to local authorities, including Income Tax and National Insurance.
Process and track employee reimbursements and travel expenses, ensuring accuracy and documentation.
Support HR processes related to onboarding, offboarding, and statutory forms (101, 106, 161, etc.).
Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and compliance audits for internal/external review and management.
Coordinate with the company’s U.S.-based payroll provider and external consultants to support international payroll execution.

You should bring with you:
Relevant certifications in payroll.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a payroll position within the high-tech industry.
Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll regulations and social benefit systems (Must).
Familiarity with U.S. payroll structure and working with U.S.-based payroll vendors.
Proficiency in HR and time tracking systems.
High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
Fluent English – able to manage communications, reports, and coordination with English-speaking teams and vendors.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A team player with a high sense of responsibility, especially during payroll closing periods.

Bonus points if you have:
Hands-on experience with Hashavim payroll software.
Familiarity with global expense management tools (e.g., Expensify, TAS, or similar).
Prior involvement in implementing or optimizing payroll or time & attendance systems.
Background working in fast-paced tech/startup environments with international teams.
Bookkeeping certification.
